Nysted Cultural Summer is a joint initiative among Nysted's many local cultural actors. The purpose of the initiative is to coordinate and market the many different cultural offerings in Nysted, to the benefit of the city's citizens and the many guests who visit the city in the summer.

The joint initiative is solely responsible for coordinating and marketing the joint program. The individual events are held by the relevant cultural actor.
