Beaches

In the immediate vicinity of Nysted there are good and child-friendly beaches.

Nysted Beach
Nysted Strand is located by the redoubt. There are good parking conditions here, and really good facilities with a sandy beach, volleyball court, bathing bridge toilets and changing facilities.
The beach is particularly child-friendly with shallow and calm water.

Holten Beach
Holten Strand is located in Vantore approx. 6 km from the center of Nysted. Holten Strand is a popular beach for both children and adults, just as the area is also used for shelters and tent pitches. The beach is also popular with windsurfers who have their own area away from the bathers.
The beach is extremely child-friendly with extremely calm and shallow water with access from the bathing bridge. There is room for ball games and games on the large grass area where you can also park and enjoy the sun's rays all summer long.
