Flute, organ concert and vernissage of the Bo Karberg flute exhibition
We are excited to invite you to a magical evening at the Nysted Organ Museum, where we celebrate the Organ Museum's 5th anniversary with an exquisite combination of music and art. This evening marks the beginning of an unforgettable celebration and we are proud to present a number of outstanding concerts this summer
We set out with an exclusive vernissage of Bo Karberg's impressive flute collection, and we will be enchanted by a unique concert with Duo Tramontana, which will transport us back to the beautiful and lively world of baroque music.
Duo Tramontana offers a concert of quite unknown, but very light and happy flute music, composers from the 1720s until approx. 1800. This musical journey will be accompanied by flutes made by the artist Bo Karberg.
Winnie Bugge Frandsen, the first and only soloist trained on historical flutes in Denmark, is in demand both as a soloist, chamber musician and in stagings of passions, cantatas and oratorios throughout the country and the Øresund region.
Søren Gleerup Hansen is also trained as a soloist and can often be found as a chamber musician and as a performer in orchestral contexts, just as he often performs as a soloist on the organ in large parts of Europe.
Duo Tramontana has a long series of concerts behind it and has released their CD: "Royal Danish Flute Music from the 18th Century", which can be bought at the concert.
We hope you will join us for this festive and memorable evening of beautiful music and art at the Nysted Organ Museum.
The concert begins at 19.30 and ends at 9.30 p.m. There will be an opportunity for refreshments during the concert break or before and after the concert, while enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Rørsøen.
